A friend once said I point out the beautiful things in the world. With a camera in my hand, not only do I get to point out beauty, I have the chance to create it. My philosophy of shooting is holistic: I am not interested in simply creating beautiful images. I am interested in creating beautiful experiences.

There are two primary experiences that inform the way I work.

.one.
I have a B.F.A. in dance performance. The majority of my life has been spent in daily training and frequent performance. My eye sees form and I direct my shoots like a dance instructor. The theater world, full of costumes and magic, is also influential in my thinking. When I plan a shoot it is not just the face but the whole environment that concerns me.

.two.
I am a graduate student working toward a degree in Counseling Psychology. All this means is that people are important to me. I value your visions, dreams and path in life. Whether I'm working with designers, models, or make-up artists I will always want to hear why you do what you do and find out how we can make those things happen.

Shooting fashion feels like a great way to integrate my passion for directing, design, movement, images and people. I am interested in working with other focused people to produce work we can all be proud of.

I am especially interested in working with designers to direct and produce their shoots. I am also looking for make-up artists who are interested in doing some TFP work.
