About Me

Hi, everyone! I am professional photographer and filmmaker living in New York City. Born in Majorca, Spain, I lived also in Barcelona for eight years plus two in San Antonio de los Baños (Cuba) where I graduated in cinema and TV directing from the EICTV (International Film and TV School).

I have been in NYC for over 5 years now, and enjoy the artistic vision / constant inspiration that the city brings for both my street photography/artistic work and my portraiture/fashion work.

I am a proud iPhoneographer/mobile photographer, and one of the most recognized members of the iPhoneography movement. This creative field has brought me not only lots of joy, but many opportunities to make my work be known.

Among my most recent endeavors, I have photographed singer/actress (and Best Song Oscar winner for the movie "ONCE") Marketa Irglova for the promotional work of her upcoming solo album "Anar". I gave recently a talk/presentation at the Soho Apple Store in New York, called "Photographing NYC with an iPhone". I have been working in an exclussive participation on the campaign for BAR III, a new fashion line that sells on Macy's and Macys.com (my photos for them have been featured in the spring/summer look books and for three weeks all over the pop up shop that BAR III opened on 5th Avenue in NYC during Fashion Week). I'm also currently the "image" of the launch of the new mobile photo stock division called WinG, by the company Win-Initiative in New York City. You can check my video here and join WinG if you're a mobile photographer yourself!

In 2010, I participated as a guest speaker in the 1st Mobile Photo Pavilion at PMA 2010 (the most important photography trade show / convention in the USA) to talk about my iPhone work, techniques and experience. Besides, I've been featured in three different TV segments for national TV shows in Spain: "Inquietos" for La2, "Anima" on C33 and the video of the week on SiEs.TV online.

My iPhone photography has been featured in three different art shows last year: two in Spain (EYEPHONEOGRAPHY in Madrid, and IPHONEOGRAFIA, at the prestigious art center La Panera, in Lleida (Catalonia). The other one, in New York City: the EYEEM Mobile Photography exhibit, where I also curated the "Local Heroes Section". Earlier in the year, also for EYEEM, I was the lead judge of the first international mobile photo competition, the EYEEM Award.

My iPhone images have been published and featured in American Photo Magazine, Gup Magazine, Homeland Magazine (cover and interview), and even as cover of the book "Unwrapping the Sacred".

I work as a freelance photographer and I normally accept commissioned work for portraits, headshots, photojournalism or events coverage. But I also love to find courageous and creative people who would pose for me for some photo projects I have in mind, and establish a mutual collaboration without costs on either part. I would get you to pose for me, you would get copies of all your shots. I tend to shoot outdoors and with natural light mostly.

Feel free to contact me if you think we can work together.
