About Me

My journey in photography began in the year 2002. That was when, in my sophomore year of high school, I signed up for the black and white print photography class my school offered. I immediately fell in love. I was fortunate enough to study under the tutelage of Alan Rabold, one of the great still-life photographers of our time. He not only taught me about the basic knowledge and disciplines of photography, but about the heart and soul of the art of creating. I owe all of my passion in this area to him, wherever he is. Through him, I learned that each photograph is not just a mere moment in time, but a frame that I saw in a unique way, a way that no one else could, and that it was imperative for me to capture it exactly as I saw it.

This is a philosophy I keep with me to this day. I strive to see every photograph as not just a click of a shutter, but rather as something that can only be seen through my eyes, something the world desperately needs to see the way I do. I believe every photograph should be as unique and individual as the people and circumstances that comprise it.

I’ve been shooting for over 8 years now, and at 24 years old, the way I see it, my journey has only just begun.
