I live in LA, and I shoot head shots, fashion, glamour, catalog, studio portraiture, whatever's clever. I'm originally from Texas, grew up in the DFW area, graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, and I checked out New York City for a few months, but I've always been California dreamin'.

In my university days I built a background studying and creating fine art photography and shooting various types of utilitarian photography such as family portraits, senior portraits, some weddings, events and such. I never found the utilitarian part particularly fulfilling, but hey, it was fun and it paid, and isn't that what it's all about?

I'm coming back to photography with a purpose now that the digital transition has given me the type of camera I've always wanted and I'm in the right place for it. The last several years my focus has been on filmmaking and that remains my other passion.

I have a small studio in my house, Alien Bees lights, 5DmkII, and I use various photo editing programs.
