Meredith Morris, born and bred in Mississippi, left home in 2000 and moved to Washington DC to pursue a career as a hairstylist.  Graduating from the most esteemed academy in the state, she was the first student in the school’s history to complete the master course.

After graduation, Meredith apprenticed and went on to get a chair in one of the area’s busiest salons.  During her employment, she was invited to travel with the education team and work at the Hair Color America Show.

In 2004, Meredith moved out west to Los Angeles, California.  In this new atmosphere, she further developed her approach and techniques, immersing herself in education and surrounding herself with the finest colorists in the city.  In addition to this, Meredith has traveled to both London and Paris to attend courses and classes, as well as teach them!

As a highly accomplished and decorated educator and technician, she specializes in multi-dimensional hair color.  Meredith uses techniques with foils, balayage, smudging, and ombre to create beautiful and natural stand-out color.
In December 2011, Meredith was invited to join the Joseph Martin team. Working alongside some of the world’s finest stylists and colorists, she is honored and thrilled to be part of the Joseph Martin family.

Meredith has a true love and passion for hair.  She is an education-based colorist who believes that continued learning is the only way to stay at the top of her craft.
