I have been a photographer for about 15 years. I started out in architecture and landscapes and have moved into fashion, people and head shots in the last 5 years.

I am okay working with newer models as long as you can act like a professional. Contact me if you are interested in setting something up and we work to help each other build a bigger portfolio of work. I will do TFP shoots for newer models, but also looking to work with experienced models for paid projects.

I have been thinking about how we define beauty since getting into fashion photography. Whether in nature, or fashion, I like to think that my pictures evoke the ideas of beauty. There are many definitions of what beauty is however. I am open to exploring what makes YOU beautiful. You are not required to be Ken or Barbie, but an understanding of your own body goes a long way.

My style is to keep things natural as much as possible. I like working with unique people and ideas. I will respect you as a person and work within your boundaries. Every photo shoot should be an enjoyable time, even if it is work! I do my own re-touching, so I can do a natural touch, or a dramatic look depending on how we want to go with the images.

I am not defined by my camera any more than by my career choice. I am much more than that. My camera is a tool I use to create. It is not the art itself. Yes, I think my camera is beautiful in some ways, but to me real art is about the exploration of our shared humanity.

I am working on a book project and might contact you if it seems like a match for what the topic is. I am very excited about this project.
