I have been working on becoming a photographer for most of my life. I try and spend at least 3 hours a week focused on photography, and am trying to put together a showing of my work by years end. I usually only try and photograph my close personal friends in the hopes of pulling out their personality in the shot. I have worked with over a hundred different friends over the past 15 years, and luckily I still have tons more friends to go. Perhaps one day I can try photographing a stranger, but I feel the emotional connection wont be the same. I am happiest when I'm behind the lens.
