About Me

I'm a psychology/linguistics student who currently takes the time out of his study to make images. I spent many years chasing technique only to find that in the end, I'd had it all wrong and should have listened to my piano teacher from years past.

Previous I was a PJ shooter for several papers in my area and I have contributed work for international publications (most notably the previous World Youth Day, Sydney). I have also served as the Media Director for Dancekool Studios, Sydney, and also engage in minor freelance commercial/editorial work when I'm not busy pursuing academia.

I got onto this site at the advice of a friend whose work I admire, and I imagine model mayhem to be a bit like exploring a new country - fraught with pits of danger, but done because of the love of the process and the end result.

I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm capable of here in this particular slice of the net during my downtime - it beats facespace or mybook ;) I like to explore people and make portraits - beyond looking good (although I hope I certainly put people in their "best light".) I find every person I shoot a challenge, much like the newspaper work I was assigned.

I'm looking forward to working with you, if you wish to place yourself in front of my lens. I definitely don't mind TFP/TFCD (does anyone still shoot for CDs anymore in this digital age?) and am certainly not adverse to paid work if you feel that my skillset is worth the transfer of monies for ;). While I already have certain guidelines I must keep for my public portfolio I'm not adverse to helping people out with theirs.
