For me, it is all about HUMAN EMOTIONS, how to show them, how to explain something unexplained, human soul, human chaos, desires, loves, sorrows. Human face, especially eyes, and hands, their gestures, are magical signs to human inner-world; to show it is the meaning of life for me as a photographer. Melancholy, mystery, surreal fantasy, and often somber physical presence are well recognized qualities of my work. I am after pure form, art that shows the mystery of existence. I would like to work with models on emotional photo sessions, models with inner unity or at least someone struck by the strangeness of existence.

I admire work of photographers of the XIX/XX Century, Photo-Secessionists and members of The New School of American Photography, e.g., Fred Holland Day, Edward Steichen, Gertrude Kasebier, Anne Brigman and Modern Masters: Joel-Peter Witkin, McDermott & McGough, John Dugdale, Robert Parkeharrison, Herb Ritts, Francois Rousseau, David Vance ....

I am interested in historical, alternative processes in photography, so most of the images I am doing lately are unique Cyanotype prints (blue prints), Palladium and Platinum prints, and Gelatin Silver prints, but I also do digital work. I am the graduate student in the School of Fine Arts at MSU, NJ.

I think the Model Mayhem is the best place for photographers and models to find each other. I hope it is also a place where Fine Art photographers can share their work and exchange their vision with others.

... what it means to look good ? we are not talking here about heavily painted (make up) models, we are just ordinary people ... to find beauty in ordinary is an extraordinary challenge for me as a photographer - i am not after nice empty faces with white teeth and empty head ... i am interested in people with some life background - that background of love, sorrow, hopes, desires, longings ... i can see that in their eyes, their faces ... i am not a fashion photographer! i would like to catch human soul, to be a poet in photography! if you think you would be a great model for this kind of photography please contact me !!!
