Comments from Models & Bookers:

Paula Mele:
I heard so many times over the past several months from my models, "I need a comp card, Why am I not getting called back for my castings, I am shooting with another photographer, spending more and more money on countless photography sessions and capturing images that may market you in an unflattering direction! Each time you do this as a model, you put your image on the line, It really is true that a picture is worth a thousands words! If you present the wrong photos to casting directors, it only takes a second to create an impression that could make you or break you! Studio 95 Photographix will take the time to create images and comp cards that will create postive lasting impressions. Book with a professional that understands the industry and can help you out class the competition! Book with G. Gregory Geiger and his staff at Studio 95 Photographix!

Emily Zeid Schimelman:

"I want to send many thanks to the beautiful women who agreed to participate in a photo-shoot to promote my Fabulous Fitwear Stage Makeup: Rene Marven, Janette Bettie Jackson and Linsay LaChance. You are all my friends andd best cheerleaders and I love you all. Special thanks to G. Gregory Geiger, photographer extraordinaire for his creativity, patience, attention to detail and a true passion for what he does. Greg, any fitness model should be very proud to work with you--you're bitchin'smile" Oct. 16, 2011

Courtney Lynn Henderson - Thanks to your bike pics from yesterday, I am now going to Long Island to meet with a photographer who shoots for multiple bike magazines:) (FB Wall Post 10/13/11)

Amanda Soloway - "OMFG! I'm crying right now while look at my proofing! I can't believe it! Remember how you talked about evoking emotion? Well, you did it! You are amazing and talent does not describe what you possess!" 09/11/2011

Courtney Henderson - Had my first test shoot today and it was absolutely amazing! Professional to the max and really out to teach you modeling and the do's and don'ts. I would HIGHLY recommend G3 to and new or experienced model!! - MM # 2318366

Jaclyn Marie - "Hey!! Thanks for meeting with me, I learned more from you in an hour of teaching about modeling and lighting than I did doing multiple shoots with Interface Modeling Agency. I look forward to setting up a serious photo shoot with you very soon!!"

Greg, I wanted to thank you for all of your advice, not just for your coaching last night.  You have always been there to help even before our first shoot.  Few photographers have the patience and compassion that you posses, even fewer have the experience and knowledge to back it up.  You are an amazing artist, teacher and an all-around great person.  Thanks so much for taking me under your wing! -Sha-Lynne, MM # 1280473

"For the longest time I've always debated with myself to get into modeling, but never actually never made it happened. I had my first shoot the other day and now the question I ask myself is, what took me so long to do it! When I first showed up to Gregory Geiger's Studio 95 Photographix, I was a little nervous because I really didn't know what to think or expect. My first impression of Gregory, (G3 once you get to know him) was that he was very enthusiastic and very easy to talk to. Any questions I had Gregory made it a point to answer them. He made me feel like we've been friends for a long time. When it was finally time for me to do the photo-shoot, I thought to myself, what am I doing here? G3 walked in the room with his camera and amazed me! He talked to me and treated me like I was modeling for years, he was very respectful and made me feel at home. He did such a great job explaining to me and coaching me in between shots that by the end of the shoot you could tell just by looking at the pictures how great and skillful Gregory is at his work. I'm looking forward to the future to get more shots done with him, and I recommend anyone that wants to get into modeling or just wants some killer shots to check out G3's studio. Greg, thanks so much for everything! Jason P. Norwalk, CT

"Where to begin! Working with G3 has been my absolute pleasure. Before I even shot with Greg he was prompt, professional, and helpful. He worked with me on becoming confident with the shoot and myself before I even got there. For all seven hours that we were shooting there was never a dull moment. His enthusiasm and intensity never subsided from the second I pulled into the parking lot till the second I pulled out. The environment of Studio 95 is comfortable, professional, and exciting. Greg as a photographer is hands down amazing. His eye for excellence in his photographs is remarkable. Greg truly loves his profession and knows what he is doing. I am beyond pleased with my experience with G3 and can not wait till next time! Thanks again Greg!" - Abby Durand, MM # 1344813

"Professional seems to be the most accurate word when asked about Gregory Geiger as a photographer, teacher, and friend. Not only, will he tell it to you as it is, but he will also bring forth very constructive criticism when needed. As a photographer Greg is the perfect man to go to for commercial print elegant styles seen in Vogue or Vanity Fair. His direction on flawless posing is always on point and his many years of experience truly shines during his instruction. As a mentor, every model should learn as much as he/she can under his wing. At the end of the day, his promise to check up on you and ask what you have learned remains a reminder for the model that his/her time was not wasted when collaborating with Greg. Lastly, as a friend he will personally provide transportation for the model and will minimize the amount of heavy labor required so the model can be as comfortable as possible for the shoot. Aside, from his mentoring skills, Greg provides a state of the art studio complete with an abundance of equipment needed to take an amazing photograph. His in-house make up and prop room always seems to remain a handy backup if any theme needs a change in model style or object. All in all, I am more than satisfied with all the times I've worked with Greg and look forward to many more collaborations." ~ Jing Wang, MM # 882154

"I had a fantastic time working with you. You are extremely professional and made me feel comfortable for the entire shoot. You truly cared for my opinions and worked with me to get the images I truly needed for my portfolio. Thank you again for everything. I am extremely happy with the images we have created. I would recommend your services to any one of my model friends. You have not seen the last of me! xoxox" -Laura Frazier, MM - 1247367

"Greg is a great guy to work with. Totally professional and will go the extra mile for you if you work well together! He recently helped me land the lead role in a music video by photo shopping in some glasses to a photo, because the director and band wanted a professional dark and sexy look. The band's manager is pretty well-respected in the music industry, so the connections this could present are immeasurable. He also got me a job as a model for a new lingerie company. Thanks Greg!" - Hannah Boston MM # 829541

Models Info:
From one MM model: "Greg Geiger - A real artist and a brilliant technician, Greg brings to the table a kick-ass studio, state-of-the-art equipment and a solid 30+ years of industry experience. If you're looking to produce some slick Vogue-style images, Greg is the man. In addition to taking the pictures, Greg also assumes the role of modeling coach, critiquing - sometimes with brutal honesty - on posing, makeup, appearance and other aspects of modeling. (Heads-up to any models who aren't into "constructive criticism"). An ideal mentor for a semi-pro model who is gearing up to commit some serious time, guts, and energy to taking the next step in her career. Greg definitely helped me nip a couple of bad posing habits in the bud and ace the technicalities of posing and facial expression."

For those models that are seeking a higher level of photography, I'm happy to create a diverse and excellent portfolio for you at a reasonable rate.

"Each of us brings a creative process to a photo shoot. After 20+ years as a professional photographer, I bring experience, a professional attitude and a desire to produce great looking images for both of us. As a model, I would hope you bring a good attitude and willingness to show your range of expressions." ~G3

G3 shoots a mix of digital and film and has organized two Photoshop users groups, one in CT & Western MA.  Experience has taught that while faults can be fixed with Photoshop, it's better to get the image right while taking the photograph.  You will find G3 excellent at teaching/explaining lighting, capture, etc., he's a fun person to work with.

His time out of the studio is spent with his wife, Caralee, and sailing his Etchells Class sailboats.
