To understand the movement of light, to have the technical knowledge and ability to bend, shape and form light is a never ending quest!

Hi all, and welcome to RedStar Studios, a Fortitude Valley based photographic studio that has developed from a lifetime love of images and the creative process of visual communication.

As RedStars founder, I has spent the last 20 years of my life working in design practices and advertising agencies as an art director and currently as a creative director both in Australia and overseas. My life has always been consumed with visual communications, both images and type and how they can work in harmony together to create human emotions. RedStar Studios began life as a product photography studio but has quickly evolved into a more self indulgent portrait studio where we can experiment with creating images for image sake, soft, hard, dramatic, subtile, images that create conversation, that shock, that stir human emotions, but foremost embrace the art of light!

We have an in house hair and make up stylist available as well as a fully functional air conditioned professional studio.

RedStar is always looking for creative thinkers, ideas and visionary talent, stylists and artists who would like to collaborate on future projects.
