About Me

First off: NOT INTERESTED IN WORKING WITH RETOUCHERS - I believe that you are talented but a big part of my work (shooting on film) is NO EDITING!! All I do is dust removal and slight rotation and cropping. I am a purist!!

Anyway, hello! I'm a human light meter ;) and for MM, I only shoot film: medium format, 35mm, polaroid. I prefer ambient light to flash & shoot on location. I am not someone who's interested in shooting on a white background / typical studio situation.

Current avatar is a portrait of me that **I did not take** but I believe in order to take a good photo of someone, you have to be able to have a good photo taken of yourself. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

The more creative, the better. Double exposures, elaborate costumes, lit by neon, in a pool, you name it.

People I like to work with:
-those who understand the magic of film, particularly medium format
-those who have specific ideas in mind (wardrobe? location? mood? etc) OR those seeking to collaborate. Inspire and be inspired!
-those who take their work seriously but definitely have a silly side (it shows up well in photos!)
-those who have a unique look: you aren't afraid of being yourself because yourself is beautiful.
