Allure Photography is a creation of the photographer Ashley Hansen by the love of photography she discovered after she was given an old minolta camera by her parents. I experimented film pictures for a while while i was going through and trying to get my culinary degree. Just like any other high school graduate one doesn't really know what they want to do with their life and for a while i thought it was to open some kind of food industry business but that all changed. I had to take an elective class to complete the last of my requirements for my degree so i took a drawing class. Art was always something i was good at but i never saw how i could make a living out of something like that but i like it so much that after getting my degree in culinary i decided to stay in school and change my major to graphic design.

One of the required classes was Photography 1 which was a film based class that taught you all the basics of black and white photography it was then i found my love for it. I took pictures from portraits to landscape as well as pictures of random interesting objects. I played with lighting, exposure and i really just couldn't get enough of it. As the semester came to an end i began to save up over the summer to buy myself my first digital camera and it was then that the flood gates opened. I began to take pictures of anything and everything i could think of putting interesting angles on them as well as tweaking with the lighting. I took pictures of my brother skateboarding as well as snowboarding but it was during a digital photography class that i began to really get into portrait pictures, the latest being a bunch of themed shoots. They held the latest fashions as well as the person style of my models with a fairy tail twist on them.

I am going to be doing some shoots this summer so if any models are interested and like my work let me know. I will not be paying you for the shoot because i am a poor art student but i would love to give you a cd of all the picture i have taken edited.
