Michael Meadows was born, raised and trained in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Michael has a strong foundation in Hip Hop dance and enjoys working with people of all ages and abilities. He has trained with Chris Clarke and Anthony Patrick Smith of Nexx Level, Shawn Byfield and Jeff Wong of Thrive Entertainment and has trained with Touch International to better enhance his passion of performance. His drive to perform and be in the public eye has landed him such Credits as The Bazaar, Pegasus charity benefit, The Cavalcade Festival of Lights at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto, History of Rock and Roll “a tribute to Grease” and was in the holiday Footlocker commercial for 2005. Michael has been in numerous competitions such as The Kiwanis Dance Festival, All American Dance Festival in Orlando, Florida representing the only Canadian team, Toronto Sun Rising Star Competition at the Canadian National Exhibition and The North American Dance Competition were his teams placed 1st. Michael has worked for various studios around Toronto such as City Dance Corps, Vibe Dance and Fitness teaching drop in Hip Hop classes, Dance Surge in Thornhill and Ballare studios in Nobleton Ontario. He enjoys teaching at Claude Watson School of the Arts in their after school hip hop program and to help others understand that, it’s not a matter of how you dance it’s a matter of what you as a performer can bring to the stage. He is currently dancing for Nexx Level Dance and Theatre.
