Jim Owen started photographing 30 years ago with film. Due to work and family he regretfully laid the camera down for awhile. He picked one up again 3 years ago, a Nikon Digital, and began learning what he had long forgot. He began photographing on the street in some seedy areas. He is a published photographer. He now has moved into the studio and is refining his art form. He loves black and white with contrast, softness. He is working with models to help develop their portfolio while working on his own and will photograph and work with you also free of any charge; or we may could work on a project. Photography of models on location in artistic scenerios is his goal, while photographing artisticlly in the studio helps both the photographer. I am working towards my own identity with my photographs and enjoy working with models in doing so. I have found all of the models I have photographed here on Modelmayhem.
