Hi! I'm Rebecca Gerdel of R.J. Gerdel Photography. I am an intermediate photographer working towards being a professional (read want I do this for a living). I'm currently based out of Springfield Missouri.

As a big fan of learning by doing I'm founding member of The Ozarks Photography Society, a group that works together to help photographers, models, hair and make up artists any one interested gain experience, feedback and confidence!

Here's a bit more on shooting with me -

I will shoot candids of you when you are not expecting it. Some of my favorite work has resulted from my models goofing off. Like everything I shoot you have the right to ask me not to share it publicly.

I exude a rainbow flavored no-drama field twenty feet in all directions.

I will shoot tasteful female nudes, providing I have shot with you before. I will not shoot male nudes at this time.

If you bring along an escort that's fine, please let them know they may be asked to hold things (reflectors, lights, etc). I usually bring an assistant along with me.

I prefer to shoot between 2pm -7pm due to the quality of light. I can be bribed to shoot in the morning (As early as 6am) with cappuccinos or chai lattes (breve please).

I prefer to shoot TFCD, though this is negotiable and there are instances where I will pay.

I am currently free weekends and weekdays after 6pm.

I want and expect my models to have ideas about poses and shots. If you have an idea I want to try it!

Mostly I want everyone involved to have a good time!

I'm still looking into new methods of sharing photos with models and I'm open to ideas!
