MelanyBE is dynamic series of jewelry collections that passionately merge design disciplines in atypical ways. Extensive knowledge of both architectural and industrial design processes allows for the use of a broad range of materials and fabrication methods. For example, several collections are created from shoe design methods while others use an uncommon eco-friendly building material. Although the collections cover a broad range of styles, all pieces share a common goal: to stand out using bold scale, color and finishes. All jewelry is handmade in Brooklyn, allowing for short lead times and great quality control.

Melany Wimpee, acquired her wide range of construction proficiency and conceptual approach from her studies at the esteemed Brooklyn design school : Pratt Institute. Through her cross-disciplinary studies including Interior Architecture, Jewelry, Furnishings, Fashion, Accessories, Shoes, and Book Art, Melany has developed a unique approach to design in which all elements of construction and fabrication are incorporated from one media to another.

Currently MelanyBE is has its own e-commerse site as well as being included in several boutiques in the New York area. As a new design company, I am constantly working to express my work in artistic and interesting ways that convey my interest in creativity. I am currently looking to connect wtith talented people to collaborate on seasonal lookbooks and website content.
