Thanks for visiting my profile! My name is Alex and I’m mainly looking for a TFP arrangement with a photographer who's interested in building his or her headshot portfolio. Let's be direct; I’m an actor, which inherently means I’m not making enough money to live on, which puts headshots from established headshot photographers out of my price range. Need experience? About me: I’m a member of SAG-AFTRA and I live in Burbank. I was deeply involved in theater for eight years, mostly acting-wise but also production design, and got my BA in theater from Bridgewater State University in 2009 (Bridgewater, Massachusetts). After I got my degree, I started collecting a long list of credits in leading and supporting roles in independent films all over New England. When I finally compiled enough footage for a respectable demo reel, I felt ready to make the obligatory move to the west coast.

Since I moved to California in 2011, I have booked one co-star role on HBO’s "Family Tree" and one supporting voice-over role in a CG animated feature called "Life’s a Jungle." I currently attend improvisation classes on Monday nights, I record and produce audiobooks that are available through Audible.com, and I’m a regular stand-in on ABC Family’s "Switched at Birth." It's no secret that settling into the LA film scene can take a long time—so long that an actor's headshots can become outdated before they've gained enough momentum to afford new ones. Being one such actor, I've come to ModelMayhem to reach out!
