My name is Rachel French. I am a hairdresser that is behind the chair 5 days a week. I enjoy all aspects of my art including creative coloring, styling, and cutting. I have been hairdressing for about 5 years however I have been in the industry for almost 10. I started as an assistant in a large salon pushing a broom, doing shampoos, and makeup applications. I have always favored vintage/classic styles. In recent years of hairdressing, I have become more interested in creating "concept" looks, so to say. I have a strong passion for my art and would like to have an opportunity be more creative. Unfortunately, being behind the chair can become a bit monotonous. All though I love making people look and feel great on a day to day basis I would like to have a bit more control of the styles I am creating and would like to put my ideas into motion via photography, video etc.... I hope this site will show others what I am capable of and will allow me to connect with people that need my skills to complete their visions. I am, like most hairdressers, a bit eccentric and rough around the edges. And I just love playing with hair..it's like a drug to me. Kevin Murphy products are also like a drug. To hair, that is. But that's a whole other conversation :P
