Nicole Elizabeth Brumfield was born March 25, 1989 at a hospital in Long Island, New York. She was raised by her parents, Samantha and Lenard Brumfield. Nicole Grew up in multiple towns in Nassau County. At the early age of 4 she performed two songs solo at her pre-kindergarden graduation. After an period of movement, her roots were finally planted in Freeport, New York where she lived from age 5. Nicole quickly became involved in the musical aspects of Freeport district. By the time she entered middle school, she was participating in regional competitions. In junior high, she not only sang but immersed her self in sports and other activities. Midway through high school, she seemed to be mastering all of her trades. However in the Spring 2005 she was faced with the decision of playing lacrosse or participating in her first musical. Nicole sang that spring and from that moment till her high school graduation, she balanced Select Chorale, musicals, N.J.R.O.T.C., AP classes, and an occasional detention. Nicole graduated high school in June of 2007 and went on to attend St. John’s University that fall. After a semester of religion and pre-law courses, she realized that SJU was not for her. The following spring Nicole happily entered her local community college as a music major where she felt right at home. In March of 2009 she landed her first major role as Susie in Eddie Money’s musical “Two Tickets to Paradise”. Following the musical, Nicole performed a duet with Eddie Money on his national tour. Since her debut she has been in several feature films, an independent film and a few music videos. Nicole is currently working with many different music artists and actors. Nicole Brumfield can be found under her given name or the alias of Phoenix.
