Born in Cincinnati, Ohio Troy Brooks has always wanted to become a model. It has been a passion of his forever. He moved to Miami to pursue a modeling and acting career. Troy loves his hometown, and talks about Ohio every chance he gets. He says, “Cincinnati is a great city, and I will always love my home town, there is nothing like it even though my time there was short , I look forward to going back soon to enjoy the city life.” Tall, dark and handsome, Mr. brooks is focused on becoming the talk of the town. He feels that he definitely has the best opportunities being in Miami, but don’t get him wrong “Cincinnati is a great city” but, he doesn’t see his career blossoming the way it is being here in the sunshine state! When Troy first started modeling there weren’t a lot of open doors with smiling people on the other end. He went through some problems with agency scams, and negative people but when asked how he overcame that, he replied with, “I kept my goal in mind with constant focus thought to fight through the progressions and pursue my dreams.” Since modeling is not the only thing this talented young man has to offer, he has also dipped his foot in the acting pool. Troy landed some guest appearances on the hit show “Burn Notice”. Sometimes as a model its difficult to transition into acting, but that wasn’t a problem for Troy. He says, “my experience on the set of Burn Notice was wonderful, the cast and staff made me feel welcome , so I really look forward to working with them again.” Mr. Brooks is extra busy nowadays going on castings, and auditions that he barley has free time, but the little free time he does have he spends it being out and about on the streets of Miami enjoying the warm weather. Troy added, “When coming from negative degree weather in Ohio, you learn to appreciate it.” He also spends his quality time in the gym to keep his “hot” physic. Being this busy at the age of 21, when does Troy have time to have a significant other? The thing is troy wants a special girl in his life but, he knows now he wouldn't be able to give her the attention she deserves. As a model he looks up to America’s top male model Tyson Beckford, but he feels if he stays in Denzel Washington’s lane then there is a lot more to accomplish as an actor. As our model of the moment, we would like for everyone to keep an eye out for Troy Brooks, because this is only the beginning for this rising star!
