I am the singer from Manchester Ska/Punk/Hip Hop band Sonic Boom Six - www.sonicboomsix.co.uk, www.myspace.com/sonicboomsix. Being the lead singer has meant that I have years of experience of standing in front of a camera, I have been shot for many band shots as well as modelling assignments for magazines. I am looking to gain more modelling experience, explore the different aspects of modelling and increasing my portfolio as a model and not just a singer. My own style is quite quirky and my look is unusual. I am of Pakistani and Arabic origin which gives me very unique and exotic features.

Hi Laila I noticed that you are a model and from the Manchester area. There is a networking event that i think would be very beneficial for you for the field that your in. There will be a few modeling agents scouting and acting agents scouting. Its a networking event for people in the field of Media, so models, dancers, actors, make up artists, director, cameramen, designers, stylists, photographers etc will be there. It will be a great way to get more work, exposure and knowledge of you field. I thought that i would let you know since you and the event is in Manchester.
