Foster T. Lewis, owner and chief photographer of FosterLew, a visual arts production company located in Newport News, Virginia. As a teenager, Foster would randomly take photographs of family and friends. But what others once thought to be “random photographs”, were actually accurate depictions of private moments, captured in a powerful manner, through the lens of a young man with a dream and a divergent perspective.
After graduating high school, Foster chose to serve in the U.S. Navy. During his enlistment he has had the opportunity to visit many countries, honing his craft while vividly capturing the essence of the native cultures and landscapes. It was during this time, that his appreciation for photography developed into a passionate obsession of the visual arts.
Although he has been professionally shooting since 2006, Foster continues to feed his knowledge-base, challenge his creativity and sharpen his skills as a photographer and videographer.
