About Me

Born in Jamaica West Indies and migrating to Queens in the mid 80’s, King Rocky III began his creative expedition in fashion by first seeking to improve his natural talent by being formally trained.
He started his studies in Fashion Design at Nassau Community College and continued on to The Fashion Institute of Technology where he would study The Product Development and Manufacturing side of the Design Industry.
King Rocky III has freelanced with some of America’s top brands, and his versatile experience comes from working both with the luxury and contemporary markets.
During this time he gained valuable experience in Product Development, and by 2016 started what would be his journey in curating and developing the aesthetic for his own Women’s RTW Label, Rockie and Rosie.
He uses his upbringing in the concrete jungle when creating; and designs by the ethos of exotic, powerful, and classic; he explores a unique notion of grandeur through a hybrid of classic 50’s tailoring and the excess of the 80’s silhouette he studied through: photography, literature and Fashion History.
