My name is Terri Degenaars, mother of teenage sons, and I was looking for a way to supplement our income, as I turned to a hobby that started at a very young age, I decided that it was the one thing I truly enjoyed besides being a mom and a wife. I enrolled in NYIP and our local community college to improve on my skills, I find that I see things in a new light and have loved the transformations that I have made in the last 9 months with my photography. I continue to grow and learn as you can never stop learning, I believe this and seek out new information all the time. I never thought I would enjoy shooting people, but after my first shot with my friend Lottie and seeing how much I enjoyed the capturing of the moments and utilizing a technique that was not your everyday portriat studio AKA Sears and etc. that I found a whole new prespective on portrait shooting...so I purchased studio equipment and practiced on my family and friends, guess what I love it now, so I find that I can shoot whatever my heart desires if I only give myself a chance.

I would like to be a part of Model Mayham so that I may continue exploring my interests in photography and meeting others with the same desires and interest.
