I have been a portrait and wedding photographer for over 20 years. I am in the early stages of building a new leg of my business catering to aspiring models, actors and actresses in need of quality professional photography to kick start their careers.

While talent agencies never 'require' professional images. The unfortunate reality is that you are far more likely to be hired for a good paying modeling or acting job with professional images. This is an image based business, and when marketing yourself as a professional model/actor you need to make sure your image is the best it can be.
