About Me

Juan Carlos Delarosa aka Lows, was born and raised in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic, as the older child of 2 siblings. In 1992, Lows came to United States with his father for a better life and moved to Corona Queens, NY, where he resided with his aunt. In 1999, Lows attended Far Rockaway High School where he diligently studied art, but later developed a liking for various sports. Lows found baseball to be his first love. He was so dedicated to the sport that he volunteered to coach a little league baseball team during the remainder time of his high school experience.

After high school, Lows became interested in the talent world. After intense research and auditions day after day, he was elected to do his first talent show as a freestyle break-dancer. After his solo performance, he witnessed the crowd’s reaction and from that, he realized that he was fearless, and had a new desire to entertain.

In 2008, Lows started working at the NY Sports Club Gym as a housekeeper, but still had the desire to dance. After work hours, Lows started using a small private studio of the gym as a tool to express himself in dance. He then went off to record himself, using only his cell phone as a video camera. After hours of practice daily, he created his first “visual ready” mini clip. He showed this clip to family and friends and their reactions reassured him even more that he had a gift and the potential to be more than he ever expected.

In 2009, Lows accepted his first photo shoot offer made by a close friend, Ari, to model his upcoming clothing line, (Ghetto Fabulous Style). Throughout that year, Lows continued to do numerous shoots for his friend and because of the clothing line’s credibility; it gave Lows the exposure he needed to be seen by various entertainers and photographers. Lows also worked with well-known Bed-Stuy Brooklyn photographer, Michael Daughtry of Brown Stone Entertainment/ Fotofein. In 2010, that photo exposure landed Lows his first music video shoot with Hippaparazzi Entertainment, as a solo dance artist to a song titled (Money Right Now), featuring Massinissa Sphinx and Sloan.

Today, Lows has been venturing off into the dance and modeling world with great ambition, in hopes of becoming a positive role model and a great success. Lows desire today is to make his family and friends, in the US and back home proud of him and to show them that with faith and persistence dreams can come true.
