I am primarily a magazine editorial photographer (portraiture and high-end photojournalism), however I do shoot commercial and editorial fashion when the right assignment comes along. I tend to work alone, or with one or two assistants, in my own studio. I've very easy to work with, relaxed, and, having come from a background in journalism, I prefer keep my direction to a minimum, instead coaxing out their inner character. Not only does this create a more natural image, it's often a far more enjoyable shoot for everybody. On set, I live by one motto: If we're not all having fun, we need to stop, because something is drastically wrong.

I shoot for mainstream, national magazines (print), as well as national commercial campaigns and major stock photography agencies (both editorial and creative).

I also have a quiet, yet exclusive relationship with a very well known, extremely upscale national men's magazine (i.e. doesn't end with "boy" but starts with P).
