I have a writer's personality. I normally prefer words than images, characters than real people, imagined situations instead of facts. Fiction excites me and keeps me going; reality makes me yawn, when it doesn't flat out disappoint me.

I wouldn't think of picking photography as a hobby; it's such an "open your eyes and see what's around of you" thing to do. But I am glad I was "thrown" into it - I discovered that seeing the world from a more visual perspective can be revealing, not to mention a lot of fun.

So I'm learning, practicing on people, cats, rocks, apples, water puddles, cracks on the wall. Especially people.

At this point, when photographing models, my goals are simple: create something beautiful, interesting, appealing. Learn about light, see what it does to people's skin and curves. Learn how to make each person look his/her best. Capture a dreamy smile, an evil glare, an emotion in someone's face.

Later on, I plan on going for more editorial shots, were every image tells a story; where models will play villains, victims, heroes, clowns, vampires, ninjas, people mad in love or lust, ordinary creatures doing something out-of-the-ordinary. (Back to the roots, isn't it?) But I should walk before I run.
