About Me

Even though my bachelors degree was in Electrical Engineering at MIT in Boston, once I discovered my true artistic side, I studied at La Sorbonne in Paris. Alas, I discovered life, art, passion, love.

Perhaps the 2 dimensional image will merge with the 3 dimensional. My goal is to attempt to do do with inverted refractions through the use of various myopic and stereoscoping lenses.

Photography is an all encompassing term used for all types of image capture but there are in fact distinct variations in the manner in which photography is approached in different genres. Different genres of photography require a different style and perspective. The techniques I use vary based on the subject, the situation and the end use of the image or scene.

Photography has always been considered an art and a creative process. This creativity is enhanced by the availability of camera features that make possible a wide range of ideas and styles.

Perhaps what I am looking for can be accomplished through afocal photography.

Afocal photography works with any system that can produce a virtual image of parallel light, for example telescopes and microscopes. Afocal photographic setups work because the imaging device’s eyepiece produces collimated light and the camera's lens can focused at infinity, so they are both afocal systems, there is no net convergence or divergence in the light path between the two devices. In this system the device is focused on the object and the camera is placed above the eyepiece as close as possible. The draw back is the system will have a high focal ratio, with a correspondingly dim image, and some vignetting. A high focal ratio also means the field of view will be narrow.
