I am new to the industry and in the process of interviewing at various agencies, deciding what avenue I want to travel down. I'm interested in shooting print - no sleezy stuff. By joining MM, I hope to gain insight and valuable information so I don't fall for phony offers and false hopes. Also, I want to know about what agencies and photographers out there are hard-working and will honestly commit to helping me achieve my goals. I am confident and determined, I know where I stand, and I know where I'm going. I will not compromise my morals or ethics to conform to what others' want. To me, the beauty of succeeding in this industry is reaching your goals while staying true to yourself.

In this forum, I am also looking for reputable, competitive agencies down in Orange County, CA. I know that 99% of the work is in LA, but I have a full-time job that I am dedicated to and am not able to make the constant drive up to LA. However, I do want to get my foot in the door and put my work out there, so I'm hoping that Orange County yields some positive results. Anyway, I appreciate opinions from other people who have interviewed at various agencies and have shopped around. I don't want to take the bait with an agency that might promise the world but fail to deliver. I want to be represented by people who are true to their word and are committed to both their and my success. I am excited about the future and, although I know and am prepared to put myself out there numerous times to perhaps be rejected, I am ready to work hard.
