I absolutely love your look and would love to do a test with you this Tuesday, 1st March if possible for you. I urgently need to do a test shoot to finalise all the elements of a shoot that im doing in 3 weeks. I have booked a studio at my college, London College of Fashion, and a stylist will be there to help out.

If you cant make it this Tuesday then I will be doing shoots in 3rd week of March and the dates are given below. If you are interested, would love to meet you in person and go over the details and also show you some tests i have done so far. :)

I require 5 female models for the shoot that will take place in March 2011. It will be shot in black and white and is about the feeling of isolation and connection with the space around the subject. It will be shot in the studio against neutral backgrounds, with concentration on the turbans/ headgears and the models face. It is meant to be very spatially and culturally ambiguous so that the viewer doesn't know where its shot, what time period its shot in, etc.

This project will be a beautiful journey of discovering something unique. I want to freeze the moments in time and space as if the model is floating in time and the viewer cannot define which period of time the shots were taken. I want the images to be classic and timeless. The stylist will bring in elements of fashion using turbans and head gears wrapped around the head and shawls/ drapes on the body to eternalise beauty. The styling will be very culturally ambiguous. The makeup will be minimal, just emphasising the eyes and making them strong/piercing. The hair is very important and will be long and flowing in some shots, and wrapped in turbans in others.


The approximate dates are:

Day 1 (2 models)- 16th or 17th March
Day 2 (2 models)- 18th March
Day 3 (1 model)- 21st or 22nd March

The dates are flexible around these 2-3 days.

There will be about 3- 5 images per model that i require. Also I will be providing food/ drinks. I will also cover the travelling expenses within London for the models. Also the shoot will be unpaid for but I will provide a CD with final edit of images and prints of final edit. This is however negotiable depending on the model's experience.
