I’m a freelance makeup artist living in Staunton, Virginia. I have a fine art degree and have worked professionally in 15 different art media since 2000. I have a well developed artistic eye and good skills. I started doing makeup and hair for theater and for friends and by making mineral makeup. I've done everything from the feminine and natural look to outlandish theater and artist designed looks and all kinds of things in the middle. I've given a guy with hair a realistic looking bald head and then gave him back his hair again - every evening for the run of the show. I've created characters for theater including FDR, vintage pinup, aged, deathly ill/skeletal, creating a beard from scratch, completely covering eyebrows so that they were no longer visible, and I even made a pair of men look like twins. I also do body painting and I have good airbrush skills, photos coming.

I have the ability to bring out the natural beauty and uniqueness of any subject. I specialize in custom made mineral makeup that is good for the skin and airbrush that is good for high def photography situations.

My goals include doing makeup for pay in the local area, some travel is fine if the money makes it worth it. I'm open to some work just to build my portfolio, though my spare time for non-paying gigs is limited.
