Shireen-marie is a graduate in Journalism News Media and Cultural Studies. Currently, she models with Charles & Ko, the UK's leading ethnic modelling agency taking part in photo-shoots and fashion shows in and around the UK. Shireen-marie also holds the current title of Miss West Africa International 2009/2010 beauty pageant won in November 2009 in London.

Shireen's beauty title has opened many opportunities in terms of career development allowing her to travel around Europe, America and Africa. In March 2011 Shireen-marie modelled in Atlanta GA for 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' designer Dwight Ebanks alongside Alasia Ballard from America's Next Top Model for the Beffta Awards Positive Runway show raising awareness for HIV/AIDS. Her participation in fundraising and charitable events sees Shireen-marie collaborating in projects alongside Ambassadors and NGO's for raising awareness about Malaria and HIV/AIDS in Africa. Her extensive work has seen Shireen-marie co-host with Comedian and Choice FM host Eddie Kadi, model with 'Britains Next Top Model' Annaleise Days and in Paris for the 'J'Adore' runway show. Shireen-marie has been featured in numerous magazines such as a cover in 'The Calabash', a six page interview in 'Your Mag' and a feature in 'Yes' magazine. In addition, she has also been featured twice in 'OK' magazine in 2010 for her work alongside Channel 5 news presenter Liz Fuller, Charlton Cole, Calam Best and Nicky Grahame.
In an interview aired on BEN TV's 'Sporah Show' in 2009, Shireen-marie explains her aims and goals whilst carring the title of 'Miss West Africa International 2009-2011'

With a strong passion for runway and editorial/commercial modelling, Shireen is determined to increase her experiences as both a model and beauty queen. She has a commercial and high fashion style which she is determined to progress.
