I live in the Austin area and create one-of-a-kind exotic skin accessories.

Samples and prototypes in various styles and colors are available for photoshoots. Or, I can make custom items for any given theme or concept.

Growing up in Houston, Texas, accessory designer David Hodges was fortunate to encounter teachers who fostered his creativity and love of fine art. These teachers recognized his unique talent and helped developed his tactile affinity for leather working, jewelry making, and sculpture.

David started his career as an Art Director at a top ad agency in Houston. Continually seeking experience, he then moved on to a product marketing company where he served as an Art Director and Merchandising Manager. In these positions, David gained extensive knowledge of brand development.

David Hodges’ entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of his own design firm in the mid 1990’s. Hodges Design focuses on national consumer product goods companies primarily in the housewares industry. From directing photoshoots, package design and ad layouts to product design, print management and video production, Hodges has many talents.

Feeling the need to get back to basics creatively, David set up a leather workshop in his garage. It was then, making belts, bracelets and watch bands for friends and family that the thoughts of a new business venture started to take shape.

Today, David lives in Dripping Springs, Texas with his wife and two boys and is focused on making handmade exotic skin accessories for women and men.
