When I was younger, I could draw. Then I grew up, went to college and spent too much time away from it to be satisfied with anything I could draw as the artistic impression of what was in my head.

After searching a bit, photography has become my artistic outlet and I have been lucky enough to work with some great models.

I get the impression that I approach a shoot in an atypical way. The last thing I want from those I work with is to be a drone, expecting every cue and instruction. I want a model's personality to come out in the shots and to get that, I am happy to take the time to capture those moments.

Maybe that is why I would rather have fun with a shoot than simply push for the planned shots. Maybe that is why I do not have a pre-set number of shots a model can select in a TFP shoot. If we capture twenty or thirty great moments, then I will clean up and provide twenty or thirty shots. I also have a Photoshop background and actually enjoy the retouching process, so why not provide as many great shots as I can.

So, if you want your personality to come through in the pictures for your portfolio and you are not opposed to having fun with a shoot, let's see what kind of moments we can capture.
