I'm an artist and as such I'm quite openminded to various styles of photography, especially if it's something really unusual. Good art isn't always pretty-pretty, and I enjoy trying to push the boundaries a bit and try new stuff.
Though I say I'm openminded, don't try and hire me for porn. That's not where I'm looking to go. (I have to put this here thanks to all the messages I have received!!) I take a chaperone to all shoots- my husband. This is a rule of mine for everyone's safety and piece of mind, and I won't make any exceptions. He's quite useful actually. He'll sit quietly and not do anything or get in your way if you want, or he can help carry and move things or make the tea. I also need him because I am disabled to certain degree as I have fibromyalgia (see here: http://www.fibromyalgia-associationuk.org/what-is-fm-highlights-203 ) and that's another reason why I don't work much. I see modelling as another expression of artwork, and it's not my career- I am too ill to dedicate the hours to full time modelling, but I still enjoy it, and am happy to help try and get the shot to the best of my abilities. I may be ill- but I'm still determined!! Hi Faerie I noticed that you are a model and from the Birmingham area. There is a networking event that i think would be very beneficial for you for the field that your in. There will be a few modeling agents scouting and acting agents scouting. Its a networking event for people in the field of Media, so models, dancers, actors, make up artists, director, cameramen, designers, stylists, photographers etc will be there. It will be a great way to get more work, exposure and knowledge of you field. I thought that i would let you know since you live in the west midlands and the event is in Birmingham.
