Davy Green is currently attending the University of Oklahoma pursuing a D.M.A. in opera vocal performance. Green received her B.M. in vocal performance from Oklahoma City University’s Wanda L. Bass School of Music, while studying voice under Dr. William Christensen. She attended the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, and the Land of Enchantment Opera Young Artist Programs during her undergraduate years. Davy is a Magna Cum Laude graduate at Texas State University where she earned her M.M. under Professor Julie Wood. While at Texas State, Davy was awarded the Most Outstanding Graduate award for the entire college of fine arts. She also placed 4th in the vocal graduate women division of Texoma NATS in 2011, 3rd in the Texoma NATS competition in 2012, and was the Texas Regional NATS champion in the spring of 2012. Green currently studies voice under Professor Kim Josephson, and has performed professionally with San Antonio Opera Company, One Ounce Opera Company of Austin Texas, Light Opera Oklahoma, and Texas Hill Country Opera of Fredericksburg, TX.

Davy enjoys everything about performing; singing, dancing, and acting. She has received a lot of experience in drama, musical theatre, and dance. However, due to her skills learned on stage and in school, she has developed her true passion for modeling. Due to her dance experience, she is very flexible and graceful on camera. She has worked with photographers throughout the Oklahoma and Texas region that have enjoyed her ability to pose with flexibility and grace. Due to her superior knowledge in acting techniques, Davy is able to emote sincerely on camera. Davy has also had much success on the runway stage, some of her favorite credits include; Austin Fashion Week, Austin Monthly Bridal Bash Fashion Show, Austin Salon Industry Night Hair Show, Austin Rock Raiser Runway Fashion Show, Betsy Johnson Austin Fashion Week Show, and Austin Eco Fashion Show. Green most recently filmed commercials for Honda, Mathis Brothers Furniture, and Bob Mills Furniture. Davy hopes to continue to build upon her modeling passion in the Oklahoma Fashion Industry.

This past year, Green began her newest venture as an adjunct voice professor at Oklahoma City University, and also teaches privately out of her home studio. Green began teaching private voice and vocal master classes at Texas State University, and is thrilled to continue her teaching journey with the talented artists at OCU.

Davy performs regularly in concerts, recitals, local events, fundraisers, parties, and weddings in the area. When Green isn’t performing, modeling, or teaching, she enjoys her hobby as a local television/film actress for independent, local films, and commercials.
