I have been a photographer for a little over 12 years. I was trained the "classical" ways thru school and working for private photographers. I have branched out on my own mainly focusing on retail aspect of photography. It wasn't until recently, working on starting up my own independent studio, that I realized that good connections in the modeling industry was a key element in creating quality work. Working with people who actually want to be photographed can be equally rewarding as working with people who have to be for whatever reason. My interests in working the Model Mayhem's models is one of not only helping models build their portfolios but to work on mine as well.
