I am a sculptor working in clay and sometimes mixed media. I primarily focus on the stylized male form, and address issues related to identity (formation and expression) and human nature. My most recently completed body of work addresses the dynamics of intimacy and sexuality in relationships.

By juxtaposing coarse, textural surfaces against glossy, smooth surfaces (or organic against regular geometric forms), I try to heighten the visual tension in the work. Surface and form are incorporated to mutually support themes in the work.

I am looking for a male model for a new body of work that revisits my earlier, more representational forms, but incorporates the surfaces and design of the newer work. The theme in this body of work will address personal evolution and change expressed narratively through the physical form.
