Lei Ponce has a life-long love affair with fashion and style. It’s no mystery where Lei’s passion for beauty originated. He has been immersed in the world of fashion and design since birth. His early foray into the world of fashion was at the age of 15, where he started making accessories and designing clothes just for personal consumption. He was even tagged as “Fashion Overkill” due to his bold accessories and weird wardrobe style. His first creation was a gown worn by one of his classmates back in secondary school. Fashion evolves and so his ideas. He doesn’t have any formal study when it comes to fashion design. His mentors are the internet and magazines. Every Websites and fashion spreads provided ample inspiration to this aspiring make-up artist. By the age of 20, his interest in fashion has evolved into a full-fledged love for hair and makeup design.

Learned hairstyling by himself. Online tutorial and books are his source of knowledge. He learned different hairstyles and updos because he is not afraid to experiment.

He took Makeup Artistry at LaSalle College International and obtained an International Certification for Makeup Application under the tutelage of Rb Chanco and Shu Uemura Learning Atelier for Discover, Explore and Aspire module.

He slowly became a master in the art of creating Avant Garde and High Fashion look, a technique of applying makeup that requires great skill and wide array of ideas to make the subject stand out amongst everything. He also Master the art of creating a “nude” or no makeup look as he strongly believe in the concept of "Basic is Beauty" and continuously drive to develop his craft and create something new and innovative for his clients.

He just won 2nd place for Fantasy Make-up in Cosmetologie 2011.
