Hello, my name is Stephen and I am 22 years old and I aspire to be an editorial fashion and portrait photographer. I studied film-making in post-secondary school, so much of my work is story-driven, so a pretty picture isn't all that I am to create.

Although the bulk of my experience has been in music promotional photography, I have had a wide array of jobs ranging from shooting galleries for television and film to the weekly and bi-weekly street-style blogs that I contribute to for Topman Canada and The Hudson's Bay Company. I am inspired by the spirit and drive of others, and I find that only in focused collaboration do the best images get created.

What I'm hoping to get Model Mayhem is a network of creative and enthusiastic people to make original, stylish and enduring photographs with. First, I hope to find models that are willing to work as hard as I am to both get great pictures, and a creative team of stylists, make-up and hair artists to push the images further.

My influences include David LeChappelle, David Bellemere, Bruno Bisang, Eric Guillermain, Daniel Grizelj, Derek Kettela, Ellen Van Unwerth, Nick Knight and Ryan McGinley.

I am interested in pushing personal boundaries, and the boundaries of those I work with, always in the name of good fun and great imagery.
