About Me

I spent most of my adult life working in the creative departments of some of New York's largest advertising agencies. I had always kept myself fairly fit up until five years ago when I began to let myself slide. At the age of 47, I had completely let myself go to pot. Also, that year I was misdiagnosed with a very serious illness. I made a vow that if I pulled through I would dedicate the rest of my life to being fit and healthy.

As it turned out, I dodged a bullet and when I got my strength back I hit the gym with a seriousness and intensity that I had heretofore never possessed. As my body began to transform, friends and co-workers suggested that I should become a fitness model. Strangers in the gym came up to me and would ask if I was a fitness model, and all of my friends on the bodybuilding website I belong to also urged me to pursue fitness modeling.

Finally, after objectively assessing my photos and giving it a lot of thought, I decided that I would take the plunge. I'm planning on writing a book about my adventure of going from an alcohol-abusing 47 year old average guy to clean marine fitness model. I feel like I have the (abandoned) hopes and dreams of other guys my age who are in their (late) 40's and think that their best days are behind them riding on my shoulders.

The most rewarding modeling assignment I can think of is being a role model.

"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not-quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all.

Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach.

Check your road and the nature of your battle.

The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours."

Credit Notes

I credit my wife who's always had unshakable faith in me, which eventually led me to having unshakable faith in myself. Could not have done this without you.
