Dear Arlene and Corrie,
Thank you very much for involving me in the 2nd Bridal Fashion Shaw at the River Rock.
I had already reserved the October 14th for the show. Since Arlene invited me via email for a fitting session from 3:30-5:30pm at Mia Boutique on October 1st (this past Friday), I took off work early and drove to Richmond and arrived at Mia Boutique at around 4:30pm. To my great disappointment, when I arrived at the store, Ella told me immediately that she has no gowns for my size since she told me that my body does not look good in her wedding gowns. Her assistant offered to find me something to fit, but Ella insisted that it was unnecessary and did not even make the effort to let me even try one of her gowns while I was there.
She demonstrated rudeness, insult and unprofessional behaviour and I felt terrible that I wasted my time going there to try to volunteer and help out on my own time.
I have to decline working with Mia Boutique because of this incident. I feel bad because I have all the best intentions to work with both of you and I hope we have better opportunities to work together in the near future.
