I have been taking pictures as a serious hobby since my senior year of high school more than twenty years ago. Over the past two decades, I have photographed people in a wide variety of places, for a wide variety of reasons. I do not shy away from challenging projects, and enjoy working with models to create unique pieces of art, not merely photos. I prefer to use natural or ambient light, rather than artificial lights such as strobes and flashes, but am competent with all types of studio lighting.

I currently shoot with a Fufji S5 Pro DSLR, using high end Nikkor optics, as my primary. I also use a Canon mirrorless with high end Canon optics as my backup. I do still use film periodically, and will shoot with 35mm and 120/220 film upon request. When shooting film, however, I do ask that some compensation be given to cover the cost of supplies and developing. I typically maintain the copyrights to all of my images, but I am normally very flexible and accommodating about allowing models to use the images I take of them.
