Photography started out as a hobby for me until I figured out you could go to school for it and make it in to a career, now photography is more of my life then just something I do with my free time. I Compleated my Associates Degree in Photographic Technology during the fall of 2009 and transfered for a bachlors in visual communications-photography during the fall of 2009 as well.

Im a member of SEMI Photography group, as well as Strobist A2/DT, and the Admin for Middle Michigan Photography.

I enjoy traveling to see and learn about new places and people, I have visited many places in Michigan and a few out of state, but plan on making that number overwhelming at some point in life. I do not just believe that photographs are for memories to keep but that they are to show the people around us and in our lives the world in as many aspects as it can be seen. I have a three year old son who is the most important thing in my life, and inspires many of my creative streaks.

I have grown up around horses my entire life, so to be able to capture images of them that actually are a likeness of the bond that causes people to own them is something that I strive to be able to do. I want to show people what things are, why they exist and that anyone can see or do anything they put their mind to. I intered in Frankenmuth, Michigan shooting youth sporting events such as football, soccer and baseball in order to better learn how to shoot action shots as well as work with available lighting and children.

I do occasionally do Time for Print (portfolio images) shoots for models in exchange for use of their images in my own portfolio. I shoot with a Nikon D200 camera, and do mostly digital images though I prefer black and white film images. I prefer to shoot outdoors with natural lighting and backdrops but can do indoor studio portraits as requested
