I have been playing with cameras for 40 odd years. I first processed my own black and white photos from film when I was 16. I then seemed to go a long time without my previous enthusiasm - until digital came along!
I work with Canon gear and enjoy using off camera flash both in the studio and outside.
I have two styles of work. One is the normal photographic picture which I try to enhance to give it an edge.
The other is my photo/painting image.
Both are heavily helped by Photoshop manipulation.
Although I do take landscape shots etc., I prefer to shoot people as I find the resultant images more interesting.
I am retired from full time work and as a result am trying tentatively to delve into professional photography.
I have shot weddings but much prefer the opportunity for more 'arty' pictures.
