I am a portrait photographer based in Hernando county and servicing the Tampa area, as well as surrounding counties.

I was a graphic designer and art director for over 15 years and try to bring that creativity to all my shoots. I am up for TFCD shoots on a limited basis, with both males and females, to help build up our mutual portfolios. I am also looking to work with professional makeup artists, hair stylists and wardrobe stylists.

I prefer natural light and outdoor settings to indoor shoots and studio lighting, when possible. I can come to a location you are familiar with and comfortable with, or I have some on site locations in my area that I have shot at that lend themselves to nice backdrops for a shoot.

About Me:

I am female and a mom of two grown boys. I notice an awful lot of male photographers on MM, and I know that some girls, especially young ones or those just starting out, may feel more comfortable with a female shooting their photos. And, yes, my avatar really is me.

My Style:

I do some black and white work, but I am a big fan of bold bright colors! I like to shoot LOTS of pics, so be prepared to work. You will find me shooting, even when you aren't posing, as I really like to catch those "real" moments and have actually garnered some of my best photos from such moments.

I am **NOT** into hard core nudity or fetish type of photography, however I won't rule out doing tasteful lingerie and bathing suit shots, if that is what you would like to add to your portfolio. I like "themed" shoots too, so if you have something in mind, let me know. If you are looking for fetish/nude photos, I may not be the best photographer for you. Not that I am a "prude" or anything, they just aren't really "my style."

What You Can Expect From Me:

- A warm and kind personality at the shoot. I want to make sure you are at ease.
- Quality photographs that you can proudly use in your growing portfolio.
- I do touch up, color correct, or Photoshop my work a bit, but I prefer to let your natural looks shine through when possible.
- Depending on venue and time, I may bring an assistant with me to help with adjusting lighting, holding reflectors, etc. If you are uncomfortable having a male assisting me, please let me know ahead of time so I can make other arrangements, if need be.
- I require a signed release form for usage of photos from our shoot. I may want to post photos from the shoot on my website portfolio, or print photos for my book portfolio.
- You can expect to be able to start viewing and downloading your photos in about 2 weeks from the shoot date. Shots will have a discreet watermark at the bottom with my company name, since this is a trade shoot. Paid shoots will not have my watermark on them. I am happy to supply some non-watermarked hi-resolution files for your print book or to give to agencies. Please note, these are for print portfolios only. If posting pics online, I do appreciate you leaving my discreet watermark on the photo.
- Shots uploaded to my website will also be available for purchase without the watermark, or for reasonably priced prints. If you are looking for prints, let me know ahead of time.

What I Would Like From a Model:

- Someone who will stand by their commitments to show up. I have a busy schedule and if I have blocked you into a spot, and am willing to work for trade, I do expect you to show up.
- Please, if you have to cancel, give me 48 hours notice. This is a sign of professionalism in the industry. A good habit to have.
- Models must bring their own makeup, clothing, props, etc. to the shoot. I may also have some, as the shoot permits.
- Please, no models under 18, without your parent being present. If you are under 18 and show up without a parent as a chaperone, the shoot will be canceled on the spot. I may require ID from both model and parent, if I feel that I am not looking at a legitimate parent/child relationship upon arriving at the shoot. Sorry, but as a parent, I take child safety into careful consideration.
