About Me

After studying photography in high-school in the late 60's early 70's, I mowed 731 lawns to earn enough to buy my first Canon F1 w/ motor. In college I started shooting for money! The first real paying gig was light shows for a local "disco". The first national publication was in 74' Boys Life Magazine, a piece on canoeing, I was 19. From there it was off to the races. While I have always had a "day job", photography has been a lucrative avocation. If it held still long enough (sometimes) and someone wanted a shot of it, I'd do it. From promotional brochures for Colorado Ski resorts to lighthouses for greeting cards, from towels to lawn mowers for catalogs, to Formula 1 races. I've done coins for insurance work to crime scene recording. As far as work with models goes, I'm mostly catalog stuff, classic glamor and implied nudes.
