I started cosmetology school back when I was 17 and just starting my senior year of highschool. I immediately fell in the love with the business. Now, more than 10 years later, I still love being behind the chair.

Since I have such a passion for this field, I want to learn everything I can. Hair is and always will be my first love. After a few yearts, I started to improve my makeup techniques as well. This blossomed into educating on the side for two years for the mineral makeup line that I still currently use. But as we all know, you are never done learning.

Which brings me now to Model Mayhem. I have decided that I need to put together my portfolio. Not only do I want to see my art in print, but gain the knowledge of what a photographer sees and how to work in a studio. Hopefully, my portfolio can help direct me to editorial and/or platform work. All of my pictures so far are from the wonderful people of Seattle Photograhy Associates. I have the pleasure of doing mostly hair and some makeup with them on my weekends. So far so good. I have already learned so much and am excited to improve and see what doors open up.
